About Washtenaw County Court Docket

Washtenaw County court dockets and case records are maintained by more than one court office. The Washtenaw County Trial Court, Probate Court, district courts, and Michigan public-search services each serve different records functions. This private reference resource brings together public routing information so a reader can identify the court that holds a docket, find the appropriate search channel, and locate the records office for an official request.

Why We Built This Site

Michigan public court access can be hard to route because one county does not have one universal docket. Washtenaw County Trial Court / Court Services is the public-records custodian for Trial Court records, while Probate Court and the district court that took an action maintain their own records. The Washtenaw County Trial Court / 22nd Circuit Court handles circuit-level matters; 14A, 14B, and the 15th Judicial District Court keep separate lower-court dockets. MiCOURT Case Search supplies a statewide public search layer, but it does not replace the court of record for official documents or restricted material.

The purpose here is practical routing. A docket is the chronological case history, not always a complete collection of document images. Court calendars, records requests, and case-search results answer different questions. The right court, case number, and record type help determine the next step.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately operated reference site. It is not connected to a Michigan court, court clerk, or government agency. The site cannot do the following:

  • Retrieve an official docket sheet or case file for a visitor
  • Change, reschedule, or reset a hearing or court date
  • Remove, seal, or alter a court case or docket entry
  • Issue a certified docket, order, or court document
  • Give legal advice or interpret a particular case
  • Guarantee that a court phone number, fee, or setting has not changed

Only the court or records office that maintains a case can issue an official or certified docket or document. A public search result is not a substitute for that original record.

Search Partners

Some pages include search tools supplied by third parties. Those providers operate their own services and set their own prices. A paid enrollment reached through one of those tools may result in a referral fee to this site, which supports its availability. The site does not control a provider's charges, search results, or service terms.
